Luis Calvillo is an iOS developer and tech founder with over a decade of experience building apps and digital products. He is the original founder of ShredSpots, a skateboarding discovery app that reached over 100,000 downloads and was acquired in 2021.

Today, he is the Co-Founder and CTO of WhattaEat, a social food discovery platform that helps people decide where to eat through short-form video. He also created the App Canvas framework designed to improve app retention.

WhattaEat

A social food discovery app that lets people decide what to eat by watching real short-form food videos instead of reading reviews. Currently my main focus.

A custom camera app built specifically for skateboarders. After every clip, it instantly asks “Save or Delete?” to help skaters keep only the best footage and save storage space.
